Ro Grok-Gallagher (they/them) is the Administrative Assistant at WISELI. They pride themself in supporting WISELI in whatever capacity they can, from organizing travel and workshop logistics to managing the Zotero library. They received a Bachelor of Arts from Lawrence University in the department of Anthropology, with a focus on Medical Anthropology and Disability Studies. Thus far at WISELI, some of their projects have included designing workshop presentations to include accessibility as well as visual appeal; collaborating with the Humanities Education for Anti-racism Literacy (HEAL) in the Sciences and Medicine project and the ADVANCEGeo Partnership to develop resources and workshop content focused on anti-racism, intersectionality, and bystander intervention; and updating the WISELI website to meet UW-Madison’s digital accessibility standards. Grok-Gallagher also helps facilitate workshops for the ADVANCEGeo Partnership and is WISELI’s digital accessibility liaison.
