Dr. Erika Marín-Spiotta collaborates on training for The Wildlife Society

WISELI’s co-director Dr. Erika Marín-Spiotta recently led a training on sexual harassment for the Wisconsin Chapter of The Wildlife Society (TWS), in collaboration with Jennifer Merems’ efforts on educating women professionals about sexism and inclusion in the field.

Merems, a doctoral candidate in the department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has contributed to making the wildlife field safer for women. She worked with TWS president at the time Carol Chambers, to put together a chapter-wide training session on sexual harassment in STEM fields.
